I was an artist from the time I took my first breath (and perhaps before..who knows?) I have always delighted in the 'visual' world and all the joy it brings ..from the dusty glint of the sun ray on a wooden floor to the pink glow of an ear lobe on the beach. I think ,dream, write and love in pictures! Seeing the world is a unique abilty and differs so dramatically with each individual ..What may cause you to shudder, may be dismissed lightly to another. Photography is an Art which gives the artist the tools to transmit , not just the picture, but the emotion and beauty of one moment into a medium that can be instantly felt and 'realized' by the viewer. Now that is powerful!
I was a very socially phobic child and without art to convey my 'self' to the world around me, I would surely have been invisible. It is through art alone that I have opened up my own heart and hopefully made a connection with others in this mysterious journey of life.

We must ask our self as artists.."Do we live in this world that has been created..or do we create the world that we live in?"
